Tamannah became the latest entrant to the world of micro blogging site, Twitter. The actress who was hitherto conspicuous by her absence from prominent social networking sites, finally decided to get herself an online presence.
'Hi ! This is tamannaah, jst joined twitter, lookin forward to connect with all the tweeples,' was her first tweet on December 2 from her id @ tamannaahspeaks.
The advantage Twitter offers over Facebook, especially for celebrities is the restriction on word count which enables them to be far more concise and choosy with sharing their details.
More importantly, it has become a medium for the stars to be communicating directly with their fans and promoting their movies each and every step of the way.
hah Rukh Khan, Deepika Padukone, Amitabh Bachchan and prominent Bollywood celebrities have seen their ratings skyrocket after joining the portal. Fans of the actress are now pleased at the opportunity to engage directly with her. As they say, better late than never!
