Trisha in Dookudu remake
Trisha Krishnan who is hardly seen in Tollywood these days has completely shifted her focus to Sandalwood now. It is learnt that the Dammu actress is all set to make her debut in Kannada with the remake of Tollywood's super hit film Dookudu.
Reportedly, Trisha is paired opposite Puneeth Rajkumar in this remake and the actress is hoping that she will find a strong foothold in Sandalwood. Dookudu starring Mahesh Babu and Samantha had become a smash hit and was declared as one of the biggest hits of that year.
Madesh is donning the director's hat for this film which is being produced by Ram Achanta who had also produced the original. Sources say Trisha was paid Rs 1 crore as part of her remuneration for this remake.
The film will also mark the debut of sensational music compose SS Thaman in the Kannada film industry. Meanwhile, Trisha's new film in Tollywood titled RUM directed by MS Raju in the making for a long time now.
