Trisha reduced her remuneration
Once the highest paid actress in South India, the wheel has come a full circle for Chennai beauty, Trisha. Apparently, the actress has hugely cut down on her remuneration to attract projects in Tollywood and Tamil.
Although she does have two Tamil projects on hand currently, she has no Telugu films, the lone exception being MS Raju's Rambha Urvasi Menaka, which is highly unlikely to see the light of day owing to financial constraints.
A far cry indeed, from the days when every top hero down South wanted to be paired opposite her. In all fairness to Trisha, in an industry where actresses have an extremely short span, she has managed to retain her popularity intact over a glittering period of more than ten years. All that she needs to get back on track is one commercial success. But who would give her that opportunity?
