Theaters tussle for upcoming films
Naa Rakumarudu and Biskett are two films which were originally scheduled for release on the 27th of this month. While both of them have managed to secure sufficient number of screens, they are still waiting for a nod from major exhibitors especially from the Nizam area.
Biriyani has already released whereas Uyyala Jampala and D for Dopidi are releasing on the 25th. While Uyyala Jampala is backed by Nagarjuna and Suresh Babu, D for Dopidi is being released by Dil Raju.
So for both Biskett and Naa Rakumarudu, only an adverse result for Biriyani, Uyyala Jampala or D for Dopidi could result in them garnering the maximum possible number of screens.
Another thing is that both the films have debutant producers. So, it is not an easy task for them to negotiate with the exhibitors against such seasoned players.
