Hunt for Pawan's heroine goes on
Normally, heroes who are having a bad run at the box office have difficulty in getting a top heroine to pair with them. And at the other extreme, there are heroes who find it difficult owing to a super success at the box office.
Pawan Kalyan falls into the latter category. Although the director, producer and script for Gabbar Singh 2 have been finalized, the search of the makers for a leading lady opposite Pawan has so far gone in vain.
Part of the problem can be traced to the fact that there are only one or two names in Tollywood who can be considered opposite him; one is Samantha who obviously has her diary full and the other is Anushka.
Kajal Agarwal is no longer in the reckoning and Tamannah has just signed Aagadu. Ileana has expressed her desire to do Bollywood. That leaves Pawan with very few choices.
Though the names of a few Bollywood starlets including that of Asin were bandied about, the makers have decided against them and decided to go in for a fresh face. It could turn out to be a huge risk or an asset for the movie. Meanwhile, the hunt goes on!
