Lawrence emulates Prabhu Deva
Prabhu Deva made a successful name for himself as an ace choreographer before foraying into acting and finally taking up direction. Needless to say, he has met with success in all three roles.
Following closely in his footsteps is none other than Lawrence. After making a name for himself as a choreographer, Lawrence turned hero with movies Style and Muni and what's more directed them as well.
Now he is all set to equal another milestone of Prabhu Deva and that is to direct a Bollywood film. Kanchana, the second film in the Muni series is being made in Hindi and Ajay Devgan would star in it.
Actor Thushaar Kapoor has come forward to produce the film and Ajay Devgan would reprise the role of Sarath Kumar in the original, that of a eunuch. The success of the film would determine whether Lawrence would be able to match Prabhu Deva's successful stint in Bollywood as a director.
