Anjali looking for success in Telugu
'This movie met with big success in Tamil. I hope it will get a similar response from Telugu audiences also,' said hero Dileepan at the audio launch of his upcoming film Pranam Kosam.
Starring Dileepan and Anjali in the lead roles, Pranam Kosam is a dubbed version of the Tamil hit, Vathikuchi directed by newcomer Kinslin and produced by AR Murugadoss in association with Fox Star Studios. The Telugu rights have been acquired by M Venkat Rao and Rajsekhar Reddy.
Speaking on the occasion, Tammareddy Bharadwaj who graced the event as a guest said, 'I have never known Murugadoss in person, only through his films. He is the director who gave India its first Rs 100 crore film through Ghajini.
What is appreciable is that apart from making a name for himself as a director, he is also encouraging his assistants as directors by launching them through his production house.I wish the movie all success.'
Hero Dileepan incidentally, is the brother of Murugadoss. Whether as an actor, he would meet with the kind of success his brother did as a director and producer remains to be seen.
