Sameera Reddy engaged
Actress Sameera Reddy who sizzled in films like Ashok, Narasimhudu and Jai Chiranjeeva is engaged to Akshai Varde, a businessman who runs a company called Vardenchi custom motorcycles.
Reportedly, Sameera and Akshai have been seeing each other from a couple of years and bonded over bikes and biking. After dating for around two years, Sameera and Akshai got engaged on December 14 coinciding with the actress's birthday in a low-profile event in Mumbai.
The engagement ceremony was attended only by the family members of the couple. A source close to the actress says, 'Sameera and Akshai got engaged in December.
It was a pre-planned event as Sameera didn't want to miss the occasion as her sister had come from Greece for a vacation.'
However, the wedding will be held in early 2014. Though Akshai hails from the corporate sector, he has a strong filmy connection as well. It was Akshai's company that customized bike for Akshay Kumar in Oh My God and also designed Balakrishna Nandamuri's bike in the upcoming film Legend.
