AD made history during agitation Tammareddy Bharadwaja, a renowned Tollywood film producer and director sacked the view that the ongoing Telangana-Seemandhra agitations had negatively impacted the Telugu film industry in the past three years.
He viewed Mahesh Babu's Dookudu as the good example to support his version and said the movie fetched a total collection of Rs. 60 crore when Telangana agitation was at its peak. He quoted the other examples of Pawan Kalyan's Attarintiki Daaredi which joined the Rs.100 crore-club when Seemandhra agitation was at its peak.
He urged the film actors not to indulge in politics and asked them to not canvas for the political parties. He asked the actors to let the people decide their leader by their self involvement. He said if someone wants to support a party, better they join the politics to support that particular party.
