A bad year for Cherry!
2013 would go down as an unpleasant memory for Ram Charan. The young actor born with the golden spoon did have one hit Naayak in his account, but things fell completely apart after that.
His infamous brawl with the techies at Taj Krishna portrayed him in a very poor light and earned him an immense amount of ill will from the public. His father's political equations also had an adverse impact on his career with Toofan, the Telugu version of Zanjeer having to be released with police protection.
The movie came a cropper and even his much fancied Zanjeer, which marked his Bollywood debut got devastating reviews, putting paid to the actor's aspirations in that industry for the near future.
Yevadu, which has been languishing for a long time has finally got a release date but nothing is certain until the last minute. Hits and flops are common in the industry, but public perception is extremely important.
Cherry will not want for any big projects, but if he works on his attitude, then 2014 should turn out to be a much better year for him.
