Teja points finger at Mega family
Credited with being the man behind introducing Uday Kiran to the industry through his movie Chitram, director Teja is known for mincing no words when it comes to expressing his opinion.
This frankness of his has often landed him in controversy as well. Teja who came to witness the body of Uday Kiran at the hospital spoke to the media and stunned everybody by saying that a prominent filmi family of Tollywood was responsible for destroying the career of Uday Kiran.
When the media queried him as to who he was referring to, the director shot back saying that the media knew better than him who those people were.
It is an open secret in the industry that Uday Kiran's career went downhill after his engagement to the daughter of Chiranjeevi was called off in 2003. Since then, the actor had been making a vain bid to regain his lost glory. Teja's statement is all set to open the Pandora's Box once again.
