Shruti underwent emergency surgery
Actress Shruti Haasan was admitted to the Apollo Hospital in Hyderabad following severe stomach pain. The actress had come to Hyderabad for the app launch of her movie Yevadu. She was already experiencing some pain then but decided to brave it.
However, with the pain becoming unbearable, she was rushed to the hospital. Her condition was said to be stable after doctors performed surgery to remove appendicitis.
This is the second time in recent times that the actress has been in the news for something not related to her films. Towards the end of last year, she was attacked by a stalker at her residence in Mumbai.
Thankfully, she came out of the incident unhurt with her spirit intact. Fans of the actress would now be hoping that her present ailment is just an aberration and would be looking forward to seeing her back in action soon.
