Uday Kiran's suicide, More facts tumbling out There's a new twist to Uday Kiran's death. Earlier, Uday's dull career was thought to have pushed the actor to take the extreme step. However, a new angle has emerged after police investigation.
After interrogating the actor's wife, family and the actor's manager, the police learnt that Uday had lent Rs 17 lakhs to his manager Munna who had promised to make a movie with the actor. Interestingly, the actor had borrowed this money from a woman who was the leading lady in Munna's movie with Uday.
The film produced by Munna was titled 'Dammit Katha addam tirigindhi' which was stopped mid-way for lack of funds. Sources say the woman had asked the actor to return her money and police feel this could also be a reason behind Uday's suicide.
With neither money nor movies in hand, Uday was forced to take the extreme step, feel the police. Also, the fact that Uday was living off his wife's earnings made it worse for him.
Although many suspect his wife Vishitha, the police has ruled out any provocation from her side. As per the call records, Uday did not make any calls after 10 pm. His last calls were to his wife Vishitha and her friend Sharath.
Some interesting points to ponder
During the investigation, the police learnt that there was no I love you or too message sent from Uday's mobile before his death. After examining the call data of both Uday and his wife Vishitha, the police found that the actor had made 4 calls before his death, of which 1 was to Vishitha and other 3 to her friend Sharath.
When they questioned Sharath, he said Uday asked him if he was attending the birthday party. On the other hand, Vishitha made 29 calls of which only two were to Uday.
Police also learnt that Vishitha and Uday had a minor scuffle on Sunday morning over breakfast. Uday felt neglected as Vishitha woke up late that morning.
Besides, Uday was also upset over an episode that happened in Chennai. Due to lack of opportunities here, Uday was planning to shift base to Chennai. When he went to buy a house in Chennai, the house owner apparently refused to oblige saying he was no more a big star. This depressed the actor to a great deal, it is learnt.
Police is exploring all angles to find what could have triggered Uday's suicide.
