Sunil out of Pongal race
Comedian turned hero Sunil's upcoming film Bheemavaram Bullodu is out of Pongal race. The film which was supposed to hit the screens on January 15 has been pushed abruptly due to lack of theaters.
Sources say the makers are now toying with the idea of releasing the film on January 24 to coincide with the Republic Day. Uday Shankar of Kalisundaam Raa fame is the director.
The makers at one time contemplated changing the title of the movie to Dussera Bullodu keeping in mind the political agitations in the state.
However, wiser sense prevailed and they have decided to stick to Bheemavaram Bullodu as it is in line with the hero's character in the movie.
Incidentally, Sunil also hails from Bheemavaram and the audio launch was also held at Bheemavaram. Esther Noronha is playing the leading lady for this film which is being produced by Suresh Babu. Anup Rubens is scoring the music.
