Lavanya in Gautham Menon's next
Lavanya Tripathi is back in action. The actress who is taking her time to sign a project has reportedly agreed to work for Gautham Menon's production Naanum Rowdythaan.
The film directed by Vignesh Shivan is a bi-lingual in Tamil and Telugu languages.Gautham Karthik who made his debut with Mani Ratnam's disastrous film Kadali is playing the male lead in this film.
Sources say Lavanya will be seen as a deaf girl in this film billed to be a social drama. Confirming the news Lavanya says, 'I'm playing a deaf girl in Naanum Rowdythaan.
Although the role is deaf, she possesses a great attitude. I immensely liked the script and my character and I'm confident that this film will help me prove myself as an actor.'
Apart from this project, Lavanya is also working for Sasi Kumar's upcoming bi-lingual Brahman co-starring Naveen Chandra. Lavanya's last release Doosukeltha has become an average grosser and the actress has pinned a lot of hopes on this Gautham Menon's project.
