Mani Ratnam to direct Mahesh
The latest buzz that has hit the tinsel town is that creative genius Mani Ratnam may soon direct Mahesh Babu in his forthcoming film. Tipped to be an action entertainer, the film is likely to be made with extravagant budget in Tamil and Telugu languages.
Sources close to Mahesh says that the actor and the director are in the talks. It is worth mentioning that the duo planned to work together for the remake of Ponniyin Selvan, but the film didn't hit the floors due to various reasons.
Currently, Mahesh is gearing up to shoot for Srinu Vaitla's new movie Aagadu and he recently signed the dotted line to work with writer-turned-director Koratala Shiva for a new film produced by UTV motion pictures. However, nothing has been confirmed and an official statement will clear all the speculations.
