1 fails bumper BO openings
Superstar Mahesh Babu-starrer action-thriller `1: Nenokka dine', which released on Friday minted only Rs 8.4 crore on its opening day in Andhra Pradesh, failing to register a record opening.
It was reportedly made on a budget of Rs 70 crore and released in 1,100 screens across the state.
'Everybody was under the assumption that the film will easily break the record opening set of 'Attarintiki Daaredhi'. But it managed to collect only Rs 8.4 crore on the first day in the state.
The film has opened to mixed reviews and that's not a good sign,' told trade analyst Trinath. Meanwhile, director Sukumar said that Mahesh is happy with the response of the film. 'He left me a message asking when I will direct him again?,' the director said.
