Case against Ramcharan The Yemmiganur police have registered a case against Telugu cine actor Ramcharan Teja under Section 294 IPC for obscene scenes in his latest film.
Following a complaint received from former councilor Koneru Nagender Prasad, the Yemmiganur police registered a case against Ramcharan Teja and six others.
Nagender Prasad, in his complaint, alleged that there were obscene scenes in the recently released Yevadu movie starred by Ramcharan Teja.
As per Section 294 IPC, singing, reciting or uttering any obscene word, ballad or words, in or near any public place, shall be punished with imprisonment of either description for a term which may extend to three months, or with fine, or with both.
