Jenda Pai Kapiraju comes with a message On the face of it Jenda Pai Kapiraju is an entertainer, yet the movie carries a subtle message which says that 'if every person reforms himself, the country will reform itself.'
Starring Nani who is playing a double role for the first time in his career and Amala Paul in the lead roles, the movie has finished shooting and is currently undergoing its post-production formalities. Tamil actor Sarath Kumar is doing a cameo in the film. He will be seen in the role of a CBI officer.
Directed by Samuthirakani, the movie has music by GV Prakash Kumar, nephew of AR Rahman and features Vennela Kishore and Siva Balaji in prominent roles.
With Nani's much awaited Paisaa put on the back burner, Nani is pinning all his hopes on Jenda Pai Kapiraju and understandably so for Samuthirakani has earlier delivered well received movies such as Shambo Shiva Shambo and Sangarshana.
Nani even went on record saying that his role in the film remains his most challenging one to date. These are testing times for Nani and the success of Jenda Pai Kapiraju will surely give his career the much needed fillip. Jayam Ravi is reprising the role of Nani in the Tamil version.
