When Pawan got it wrong
Emotional outbursts are quite common when Pawan Kalyan does the talking and the audio launch of his nephew Sai Dharam Teja's Rey was no different. Pawan who graced the event as chief guest made an interesting comment that the industry was not the property of any filmy family in Tollywood and that it was always open to fresh talent.
But fact of the matter is that what Pawan said is only right in theory and it is an open secret that the 'big four' in the industry still continues to toy with the careers of many a budding talent.
All said and done, it is a fact that they have a complete stranglehold over the theatres, distribution, production and studios. Against this backdrop, industry insiders say that Pawan Kalyan's statement on the occasion might have earned him a few brownie points but fact of the matter is that he got the facts wrong!
Adding credence to this belief is the glaring reality that none of the current reigning superstars in the industry are from a non-filmi family.
