Pooja Hegde confirmed for Varun Tej
Another hero from the mega family is foraying into Tollywood. He is Varun Tej, the son of Chiranjeevi's brother and actor Naga Babu. Reportedly, Varun Tej's debut film tentatively titled Gollabhama is going to be launched on February 27 on the occasion of Maha Siva Ratri in Hyderabad.
Sources say Chiranjeevi and Pawan Kalyan are expected to grace the event and sound the clap board and direct the first shot of the film. Nallamalapu Bujji and Tagore Madhu are set to produce this film which is being directed by Srikanth Addala.
Of late, the makers are doing a lot of brainstorming on finalizing the heroine for Varun Tej. It is reliably learnt from our sources that Sandalwood actress Pooja Hegde, the former Miss Universe, is likely to romance the lanky lad in this family entertainer.
Currently, Pooja is acting beside Naga Chaitanya in the remake of Kannada super hit Charminar directed by Vijay Kumar Konda. The first schedule of Gollabhama will roll out from the first week of March. Music of the film is by Mickey J Meyer.
