Keeravani to call it a day Showbiz is an arena that one hardly associates with the term retirement, especially when the per especially when the per son concerned is going great guns in his ca reer. Looks like composer MM Keeravani is an exception as he has announced that he would call it a day from recording songs.
Taking to Facebook, the musician posted, 'I recorded my first song on 9th December 1989 at Prasad Studios Chennai. The very day I decided my retirement day would be 8th December 2016. I am planning to celebrate the day with my close associates and musicians most likely at Prasad Studio, Hyderabad.'
The composer, best known for his melodies and for his association with mentor K Raghavendra Rao, is currently associated with projects like `Anamika' and `Baahubali'. Besides winning eight Nandi Awards and four Filmfare Awards, he has also bagged the National Award for Best Music Direction for `Annamayya'.
