Kotha Janta might be delayed
After a lackluster debut with Gauravam, Allu Sirish decided not to take any more chances with his career and put himself in the hands of director Maruthi. The result is Kotha Janta.
Starring Allu Sirish and Regina Cassandra in the lead roles, the movie was initially planned for a release on Valentine's Day, February 14. But insiders report that the shooting of the movie is still going on and considering the work remaining and the post-production works which cannot get underway until the shooting is over, it remains highly unlikely that the movie might be ready in time for a February 14 release.
Yet, others aver that Maruthi who has unsuccessfully backed the disastrous Love You Bangaram wants the extra time to make sure that nothing goes wrong with Kotha Janta and is being doubly cautious.
It is understandable given that Sirish's father Allu Aravind who is producing Kotha Janta is a highly astute businessman and by extension, a hard taskmaster.
With Love You Bangaram widely criticized for its vulgarity, Aravind wants Maruthi to make doubly sure that there is no such content in Kotha Janta which could have an adverse impact on the fledgling career of Sirish.
