'No rift with Nayanthara' In the wake of rumors that all is not well between Shekhar Kammula and Nayanthara, and that Nayanthara would not be promoting Anamika, a source from Shekhar's camp has strongly issued a denial saying that there was no such problem.
'There is no rift between Nayan and Shekhar. The news that she will not be promoting Anamika is absolutely false. The audio launch of the movie will be announced shortly.
She will very much be a part of the event and she will also be interacting with the media and promoting the film. Reports of fallout are just a figment of someone's imagination,' said the source.
For the uninitiated, Anamika is a remake of the Bollywood, Vidya Balan blockbuster, Kahaani. Apparently, Shekhar has made a few changes to the script to conform to the nativity of the Telugu audiences.
Vaibhav, Pasupathi and Harshavardhan Rane play prominent roles in Anamika which is also being made in Tamil. The by lanes of Kolkata in the original version have been replaced with the dusty streets of Old City, Hyderabad for the Telugu version.
Music composer, MM Keeravani has paired up for the first time with Shekhar Kammula for Anamika. Anushka Shetty was initially considered for the lead role, but the opportunity went to Nayanthara after the former couldn't allot bulk dates to the project.
