A big relief for Mohan Babu Mohan Babu can sit back and now heave a huge sigh of relief as his biggest gamble in recent times, Pandavulu Pandavulu Thummedha, seems to have paid off.
Touted to have been made on a budget of around Rs 30 crore, the film was a huge financial risk for the Manchu family which featured together on screen for the first time.
Also, the fact that it was directed by the relatively inexperienced, but talented Sri Vas only seemed to add to the pressure. However, with trade circles having declared the film a hit, all seems to be well within the Manchu family.
The movie also comes as a minor boost to Varun Sandesh who featured in a prominent role, as the success of the film would go a certain way to help rid him of the 'flop tag' after a string of disasters in recent times at the box-office.
