Baahubali sets a record Sensational director Rajamouli is completely focused on his magnum opus Baahubali. The film is expected to hit the screens early 2015. Meanwhile, the tough task master is not leaving any stone unturned and pumping in majority of the budget i.e., Rs 85 crore thus surpassing the likes of Shah Rukh Khan's Ra.One and Hrithik Roshan's Krrish 3 to create a visual extravaganza.
Grapevine is that Baahubali would be the first of its kind film in India that boast of high quotient of visual effects. Needless to say Rajamouli has become a pioneer in extracting the visual splendor by enhancing fictional kingdoms, ports, palaces and exotic landscapes for all his films right from Magadheera.
Sources say Rajamouli's team is working round the clock from almost a year to create digital set extensions, animals and realistic action episodes for the film. Baahubali is said to have over 5000 VFX shots that were created virtually, says a source. The film features Prabhas, Rana Daggubati, Anushka and Tamanna in the lead roles.
