Singer Sunitha in Anamika
Popular Tollywood singer, anchor and dubbing artiste Sunitha is all set to make her debut on the silver screen with Shekhar Kammula's Anamika. The beautiful singer who is a household name in Andhra Pradesh was offered the opportunity of a heroine in her initial days itself by SV Krishna Reddy. Sunitha however, chose to focus on her singing career instead.
But she seems to have found it difficult to say no to Shekhar Kammula when he approached her with the offer of a song for Anamika. Sunitha will be seen in an exclusive promotional song being shot for Anamika.
It is also seen as a wise marketing ploy by industry observers, on the part of Shekhar Kammula to have roped in Sunitha for the project as it would only add to the glamor quotient of the movie.
Sunitha has proved herself in all fields that she has forayed into: singing, dubbing artiste, anchor and business woman. Will she also make a mark as an actress? One would have to wait for the release of the promotional song of Anamika to find the answer to that question.
