Billa Ranga joins the fray
Billa Ranga becomes the latest film to join the fray of movies scheduled for release on Feb 21.
Already Alibaba Okkade Donga, Aaha Kalyanam, Yamini Kalyanam and Naa Rakumarudu have been confirmed for a release on that date.
With no big film to vie for box-office honors on that particular date, it boils down to the old adage of that movie emerging winner which 'has the best content'.
Billa Ranga is directed by debutant Pradeep Madugala. Pradeep is a national award winner for his short film Advaitam and it would be interesting to see whether he can get similar kind of acclaim with his maiden foray in Tollywood.
Starring Venkat Rahul who has earlier played the lead role in Alias Janaki, Pradeep, Rishika and Charandeep in the lead roles, the movie is the story of two young men, Billa and Ranga and is set in a rural backdrop.
Touted to be a complete entertainer, prominent writer Sathyanand has played an important role in the film which has music by Santosh Narayan.
