Tamanna's wish for a negative role
She might have only one Telugu film Aagadu, in her kitty at the moment but it is more out of choice than lack of opportunities for Tamanna who is one of the reigning queens of Tollywood.
A recent wish expressed by the actress on micro-blogging site, Twitter has now become the subject of discussion by all. In an interaction with her fans, Tamanna expressed her desire to portray a negative character at least once in her career.
Apparently, she feels that the actress in her would be satiated with doing as many versatile roles as possible and a negative role happens to be one of them.
Apart from Aagadu, Tamanna is also doing a cameo in Baahubali and she also has two big Bollywood films on hand at the moment: Humshakals, a comedy directed by Sajid Khan and It's Entertainment, another comedy with Akshay Kumar in the lead role and directed by Farhad-Sajid.
Usually restricted to romancing the hero and running around the trees, heroines in the Indian film industry rarely get characters of substance. Against this backdrop, it would be interesting to wait and see which brave director or producer comes forward to fulfill the desire of Tamanna.
