Nani's angry reply
Nani's upcoming film Aaha Kalyanam is an official remake of the Bollywood hit Band Baaja Baarat. Yet, Nandini Reddy has already made an unofficial remake of the movie, Jabardasth which was a big dud at the box-office.
When Nani was questioned on the same indirectly at a press conference to promote Aaha Kalyanam, he responded, 'We have only five stories and a thousand stories are prepared from that base.
For those people who look at our project in a negative sense, and say that our movie bears a resemblance to recently released films, this movie is not for them and we do not need them to watch it. I would like our audience to watch my film with an open mind.'
With the failure of Paisa, many opine that Nani would be better off if his film Jenda Pai Kapiraju were to release earlier. For Nani's sake, Aaha Kalyanam should be received well by the audience.
