Gabbar Singh 2 not shelved
Following the stupendous success of Gabbar Singh, the announcement of the sequel to the movie was greeted with much enthusiasm by Pawan Kalyan fans. However, the movie is yet to take off for some time now.
The recent news of Pawan Kalyan agreeing to be a part of the Telugu remake of Oh My God fuelled speculation that Gabbar Singh 2 was shelved, for the simple reason that the producers of Gabbar Singh 2, North Star Entertainment also happen to be one of the producers of Oh My God.
It was assumed that Pawan Kalyan agreed to do the multi-starrer with Venkatesh for the producers as Gabbar Singh 2 was no longer on. But contrary to perception, a confirmation has arrived from North Star Entertainment that Gabbar Singh 2 was very much on.
The delay was only because Pawan Kalyan and Sampath Nandi were still ironing out the differences in the script after which the movie is expected to get underway.
Ace writer-director and Pawan Kalyan's good friend, Trivikram Srinivas would be assisting Sampath Nandi with the dialogues for Gabbar Singh 2. The leading ladies for the movie are yet to be finalized.
As of now, Gabbar Singh 2 and the remake of Oh My God are the only two movies; Pawan Kalyan is reportedly committed to.
