Shruti sings for Race Gurram
The skills set Shruti Haasan possesses needs no introduction. Currently, Shruti is busy working for the Allu Arjun-starrer Race Gurram wherein she is playing the female protagonist.
The shooting of the film is in the last leg and the makers are planning to release the film in the second week of April. The latest update to hit tinsel town is that Shruti Haasan has crooned a number that goes Down down down duppa for the film.
The news has been confirmed by the actress on her micro blogging page. 'Superb day at shoot and now to be recording with @MusicThaman let's down down dupa!!!! Whate a funs,' says Shruti.
Incidentally, Shruti sang her first song, an Ilayaraja composition, at the age of six in her father and actor Kamal Haasan's film Kshatriya Putrudu .
She continued her singing stint in films such as Chachi 420, Hey Ram, En Mana Vaanil, Vaaranam Aayiram and Luck. Race Gurram is being directed by Surender Reddy and has music by SS Thaman.
