RP banking high on Priyamani Actress Priyamani who has been going through a rough patch in her filmi life is getting very few offers in Tollywood to play the leading lady. Of late, the actress lost her track as her last outings did not live up to the expectations.
Recently Priyamani also tested the waters as an item girl in Shahrukh Khan's Chennai Express. Though the song topped all the charts and became a sensational hit, the success couldn't revive the actress's sagging career.
It probably made the actress to take her time before signing any film. Well, sources say Priyamani has finally given the nod to her next film and that will be directed by music composer-turned-director RP Patnaik.
The film tipped to be a political thriller marks the debut of RP Patnaik as the director in Sandalwood. Currently, the shooting is underway in Bangalore and preparations are on to release the film in March.
Reportedly, Priyamani will be seen in the role of a CBI office in this untitled film. The Chandi star is reportedly thrilled with the way Patnaik laced her character and immediately allocated bulk dates for the film. Both Patnaik and Priyamani are hoping that this film will resurrect their saggy career.
