Venky upset with Maruthi
For the first time in his impressive career, Venkatesh was accused of plagiarism, courtesy of Maruthi. It is public knowledge that writer Surendra Krishna had filed a complaint against Maruthi alleging that the latter had plagiarized the script of Radha which was originally written by him.
Then news surfaced that it was Venkatesh and not Maruthi responsible for this misdemeanor. Though the actual truth will never be known as to which of them is the guilty one, insiders say that Venky is unhappy with Maruthi over the whole episode and though the movie has been officially launched, further progress might be severely impeded barring a satisfactory resolution to the issue.
In fact, one need not be surprised if Radha were to be shelved, considering how particular Venky is about his reputation, say the insiders.
