Anushka Shetty who is busy working on Rajamouli's magnum opus Baahubali and Gunasekhar's period drama Rudramadevi has signed yet another film.
Reportedly, the buxom beauty has been roped in to play leading lady in Kollywood superstar Ajith's new film that is being directed by Gautham Menon.
Although the names of Trisha and Pallavi Subash surfaced in the media, sources say the makers have finally settled for Anushka.
Sources close to Anushka confirmed the news and say, 'Anushka gave her go ahead nod to Gautham, but is yet to sign the dotted line.' The film is a bi-lingual in Tamil and Telugu languages.
The shooting of this yet-to-be-titled flick will commence this summer. Ajith is sweating it out at the gym to sport a slim, chick look for the film. Anirudh Ravichandran is scoring the music.
