Praneetha hikes her fee
All it takes is just one hit to hike the remuneration for any actor for a jump in the career graph and if it is an actress, the demand tends to be phenomenal. Right now, actress Praneetha is basking in her newfound glory, courtesy Attarintiki Daredi.
Post the success of the Pawan Kalyan starrer, Praneetha has reportedly hiked her remuneration to Rs 50 lakh a film and it's no surprise that the producers are desperate to have her in their films at all costs.
Praneetha is currently working on NTR Jr starrer Rabhasa and buzz is that the actress is charging Rs 1 crore as remuneration for the film. Filmmakers are perturbed by the astronomical hike in the actress's fee.
Sources close to Praneetha say it is a career-move on her part to keep the newbies and budding heroes at a distance. Instead, our Bapu bomma prefers to team-up with only big stars so that she will get wide reach and recognition for her film.
But will this move work for Praneetha? It all depends on the fate of Rabhasa and how well she impresses the audience with her performance in the film.
