Pawan keen on Vani Kapoor
Ever since Pawan Kalyan's new film Gabbar Singh 2 was announced, the gossip mills have thrown up the names of many actresses touted to play leading lady of the film. Already, Asmitha Sood, Praneetha and Samantha have been in the news for the same reason.
Our sources close to the unit refuted the news as just a rumor and affirmed that the makers are yet to take a call on who will play the love-interest of Pawan Kalyan.
The latest buzz on grapevine has thrown up the name of Vani Kapoor who made an impressive debut with Aaha Kalyanam, who is being considered to play the female protagonist of Pawan.
Reportedly, Pawan has made it clear that he prefers a fresh face to an established damsel. The film that was launched a while ago is expected to hit the floors in May and the makers are planning to release the film for Dussera.
The film directed by Sampath Nandi is neither a sequel nor a prequel to Gabbar Singh. Devi Sri Prasad is scoring the music for this action-entertainer that is being produced by Sarath Maraar.
