Ravi Teja's brother arrested Madapur police arrested Bhupathi Bharat Raju, brother of Tollywood actor Ravi Teja, for allegedly creating nuisance under the influence of alcohol on Monday night and also misbehaving with police personnel.
According to Madapur chief inspector Narasimhulu, the accused Bhupathi Bharat Raju, a resident of Kavuri Hills, parked his car in the middle of the road in front of his house at 12.30 pm and was talking to a woman while consuming liquor.
When beat constables asked the accused to move his car, he allegedly misbehaved with the cops and abused them. On receipt of the information, Madapur sub inspector Rajasekhar, along with a posse of police constables rushed to the spot, arrested the accused and whisked him away to the police station.
Police also seized Raju's car and registered a case under Section 353 IPC (assault or criminal force to deter public servant from discharge of his duty). He was produced in the Miyapur court on Tuesday morning. The court granted him bail on furnishing surety of Rs 5,000 and a personal bond.
