Srinu Vaitla to direct Akhil
Yet another star kid who is foraying into films in 2014 is Akhil Akkineni, the younger son of actor Nagarjuna. Ever since the news of his debut is confirmed, suspense on who is going to direct Akhil in his maiden film has been doing the rounds.
Although the names of the directors Trivikram Srinivas and Dev Katta already cropped up the Akkineni camp has vehemently denied that they are just rumors.
Now the latest buzz to hit the tinsel town is that Nagarjuna is planning to rope in Srinu Vaitla and even held the first round of talks with the director.
The director is currently working on the script and as instructed by Nagarjuna he is penning an entertaining subject with a youthful message.
Sources claim that the director is soon going to narrate the script to Nagarjuna and Akhil and if everything goes as expected, the project would hit the floors soon after the director wraps up Aagadu.
Nagarjuna and Vaitla share a good rapport and the actor earlier worked in the direction of Vaitla for the film titled King.
