`Drushyam' shoot in Kerala The Telugu remake of Malayalam film, `Drishyam', titled `Drushyam' in Telugu, is currently being shot in Kerala.
The film which stars Venkatesh and Meena is being directed by Sripriya and produced by Suresh Productions, Rajkumar Theatres Pvt Ltd and Wide Angle Creations banners.
The film was launched in February and shooting began in the first week of March. The film's unit is presently shooting in Idukki district in Kerala, and crucial sequences are being shot in this schedule.
Director Sripriya reportedly expressed happiness with the film's progress and recently hinted that there were several heart touching moments felt by everyone on the set. 'Drishyam' is a family drama with some witty, interesting twists in the tale.
Most part of the film is going to be shot in Kerala, mostly in locations similar to the original. Nadia will be playing an important role in the film and she'll be seen as a cop.
The Malayalam film which proved to be both a critical and commercial success is being remade in Tamil and Kannada as well, with Kamal Haasan and Ravichandran reprising the role of Mohanlal in the two languages respectively.
