Anjali signs female-centric film
Anjali is returning to the showbiz after a brief hiatus. The actress who was last seen in Masala has signed the dotted lines of a Telugu film is to be helmed by a debutant director.
Tipped to be a women centric film, Anjali has gone for a complete makeover and underwent a lot of transformation for the role.
Of late, the actress seems to be going through a lean patch as none of her films clicked at the ticket window. Sources say rather than doing glamor roles, the actress has taken a different route and decided to give prominence to films which give her immense scope to perform.
By accepting this film, Anjali has joined the likes of actresses like Vijayasanthi, Anushka, Charmi and Priyamani who had rewritten the trend of female centric films in Tollywood. More details on the project are awaited.
