Nagarjuna charges 3 Cr for KBC It is known that Nagarjuna will soon be hosting the Telugu version of Kaun Banega Crorepati (KBC). The actor will step into the shoes of Bollywood superstar Amitabh Bachchan for the Telugu version. Those in the know say that Nagarjuna has been offered a whopping Rs 3 crore as remuneration for the 40 episodes show.
The Telugu version will have minor changes in the format to suit the native audience. Right now, the team is working on the script and it is still unclear on when this show will hit the floors.
Reportedly, Sony Pictures Television (SPT) also known as Sony TV has acquired 30% stake in Maa TV which is jointly owned by Nimmagadda Prasad, Nagarjuna, Allu Aravind and Ram Charan. It is being said that Nagarjuna has agreed to turn TV host for the Telugu version of KBC following this deal.
Meanwhile, Nagarjuna's upcoming film Manam has wrapped up a while ago and is gearing up for release in April. Directed by Vikram Kumar, the film also features ANR, Naga Chaitanya, Samantha and Shriya in the lead roles.
