Legend trimmed to size
The producers of 1-Nenokkadine, 14 Reels seem to have learnt their mistake. They have apparently trimmed their latest movie Legend by about twenty minutes bringing down the run time of the film from 175 minutes to 155 minutes.
When 1-Nenokkadine released, the movie was criticized by fans for its unusually long run time of nearly 3 hours. Based on a suggestion by super star Krishna, even though the movie was trimmed by 20 minutes, the move couldn't salvage the film at the box-office.
Now, they have done their homework even before the censor formalities of Legend are complete. Legend is releasing on March 28. Starring Nandamuri Balakrishna, Radhika Apte and Sonal Chauhan in the lead roles, the movie is directed by Boyapati Srinu.
Jagapathi Babu is essaying the role of a villain in this action drama and Devi Sri Prasad has given the tunes for the first time in his career for a Balakrishna movie.
Expectations are running high around this movie as the combo of Balayya and Srinu are coming together again after their earlier venture, Simha turned out to be a blockbuster.
