Nag under Sudhir Varma's direction
Sudhir Varma had an impressive debut as director with Swamy Ra Ra, last year.The movie starring Nikhil and Swathi in the lead roles tuned out to be a surprise big hit and more importantly, the lion's share of the credit went to director Sudhir Varma.
Since then, the industry was eager to see which hero, Varma would be directing next. The names of Ram Charan, NTR Junior and Naga Chaithanya were bandied about. But nothing came out of it.
Nearly one year down the line, Sudhir's new project seems to have been confirmed. Nagarjuna who gave a statement to the effect that he didn't want to do regular cinema anymore after the disaster that was Bhai, is apparently impressed with a script narrated by Sudhir Varma and has agreed to do the project.
Further information on the details of the movie regarding the cast and crew is awaited. Industry insiders meanwhile say that it would be quite a challenge for Sudhir Varma to showcase Nag in an avatar that is completely different to the one he has among the masses.
