Rana as Chuttalabbayi
Rana Daggubati is currently busy with two prestigious projects, Baahubali and Rudrama Devi. In fact, after Krishnam Vande Jagadgurum, he hasn't signed any film as a solo hero.
It is now believed in the industry that Rana has given the green light to a project by director Parasuram of Yuvatha and Solo fame. Parasuram's last movie Saroccharu, starring Kajal Agarwal and Ravi Teja in the lead roles failed at the box-office.
The movie is tipped to be a family entertainer and in all likelihood will be produced by Rana's dad, prominent Tollywood producer, Suresh Babu Daggubati. Chuttalabbayi has apparently been confirmed as the title of the movie.
Further details on the project are expected to be revealed by Suresh Babu soon. Initially Nara Rohit was supposed to work with Parasuram for this script and the title Solo2 was also considered as a sequel to their earlier movie Solo, but the project never materialized for some reason.
Meanwhile, of his two projects, Rudrama Devi is expected to release first whereas Baahubali will only release in 2015.
