Rakul Preet to romance Gopichand
Rakul Preet Singh who made a splash in Tollywood with her first hit Venkatadri Express. She is now gearing up to prove her mettle once again with her next film. Directed by Srivass, the film features Gopichand in the lead role.
Reportedly, Rakul has been paid Rs 20 lakh as remuneration for this flick. Anand Prasad who earlier produced films such as Showryam and Wanted with Gopichand is the producer of this film.The makers are planning to launch the film on April 11 and the regular shoot will commence from May.
Anup Rubens is scoring the music. On the other hand, Rakul was earlier roped in as the leading lady opposite Nithiin for a new movie. But, the film was shelved due to some creative differences between the hero and the director thus leaving the actress in a dilemma.
Yet luck is on her side and Rakul immediately signed the Gopichand starrer. However, the recent form of Gopichand is not so impressive and he has been running through a lean patch.
Gopi's film with B Gopal has landed in financial trouble and the shoot was stalled. The actor has now moved onto Srivass's film and pinned a lot of hopes on this project. But will Rakul be lucky for Gopi? Let's wait and see.
