Rey to clash with Kotha Janta
Two young heroes from the mega camp will be vying for the box-office revenues in the first week of May. Sai Dharam Tej's movie, Rey, produced and directed by YVS Chowdary has been scheduled for release on May 9.
A likely contender to it could be Kotha Janta starring Allu Sirish and Regina Cassandra in the lead roles. Kotha Janta in the direction of Maruti is tipped to have its audio launch on April 5 and the makers are also keen on releasing the movie in the first week of May. Both Rey and Kotha Janta have had their fair share of problems.
Rey has been languishing for a long time for want of a release and the movie which has completely been shot in the US is said to have put YVS Chowdary in dire financial straits.
On the other hand there are rumors that Allu Aravind, the producer of Kotha Janta has strictly issued instructions to Maruti not to have any vulgarity in the movie after Maruti's production, Love You Bangaram was slammed by one and all.
This say, insiders has forced Maruti to go in for a reshoot of certain scenes. Both Sai Dharam Tej and Allu Sirish need a firm footing in the industry. Who will emerge victor in their battle at the box-office?
