Radhika Apte in OMG remake Venkatesh and Pawan Kalyan's forthcoming film which happens to be the remake of Bollywood film Oh My God will commence its principal shooting from May. A special house set is being erected at a popular studio in Hyderabad.
Pawan Kalyan is expected to take part in the shooting from June soon after he completes his political commitments. Meanwhile, there is a lot of confusion on who would play the female lead alongside Venkatesh in this film.
Initially, Nayanthara was approached to play the role, but the makers have dropped the idea of casting her as she has quoted a bomb to appear in a brief cameo of fifteen minutes.
Later on, the makers of the film have considered Anjali who shared the screen space with Venkatesh in films such as Seethamma Vakitlo Sirimalle Chettu and Masala as the leading lady. But, with Venkatesh showing no interest in her, the makers have decided to go for another actress.
The latest buzz to hit the tinsel town is that Radhika Apte who delivered an impressive performance in Legend is being considered to play the female lead in this remake.
Sources say Radhika gave her go ahead nod to the makers and an official confirmation is expected to be out anytime soon. Suresh Productions and North Star Entertainments are jointly producing the film which is being helmed by Dolly.
