Manchu Manoj's next is Local
It has been widely speculated that Manchu Manoj's new movie in the direction of G Nageswara Reddy is titled Current Teega. Well, here comes another latest update on the actor's new film.
According to sources the film is titled Local. Though the makers have zeroed in Current Teega as the film's title in the beginning, they have finalized Local as the title, says sources. A formal announcement is expected soon.
Reportedly, Manoj is keen on the title Local for this action entertainer as he feels that it would be in-line with the film's script. Manoj has pinned in a lot of hopes on this film and believes that Nageswara Reddy who earlier delivered a super hit like Dhenikaina Ready will resurrect his fading career.
The film will have Rakul Preet Singh as the leading lady. Jagapathi Babu who turned as villain with Balakrishna starrer Legend is roped in to play a pivotal role.
The regular shooting of the film would commence from May. Vishnu Manchu is producing the film on 24 Frames Factory banner while Mani Sharma is scoring the music. On the other hand, Manoj is working on a new film titled Son of Pedarayudu which will be directed by debutant Sagar Pasala.
