Bifurcation blues for Nitin
The state bifurcation has not only changed the fate of political parties but also showed its impact on Tollywood. Talented female director Nandini Reddy who rose to fame with Ala Modhalaindhi's success is currently looking down the barrel with the failure of her second film, Jabardasth which happens to be the replica of Bollywood film. However after taking long break she managed to bag an offer to direct a movie with Nitin.
Just a day before the release of Nitin's last movie Heart Attack, Nandini Reddy had launched this movie at a grand event in Hyderabad but now she puts her plans on hold and said that state bifurcation caused this.
Nandini said 'everything was finalized for the project. But all of sudden the state got bifurcated, I had to put my plans on hold'. The director added, "Had we started then, we would have faced lot of tax issues following the state's bifurcation. I didn't want to take any chances."
How state division halts the movie? Wonder if someone understands the words of the director. Meanwhile, Nandini is all set to make her Bollywood entry with the Hindi remake of her own film "Ala Modalaindi".
